Latitud Tenerife is a project that has been on El Cardón minds for many years. This idea is based on many existing projects: Santiago pilgrimage, Cesareo Tejedor route, Faro a Faro challenge and 040 route. In 2017, El Cardón celebrated 20 years of  hard work, introducing the idea of Latitud Tenerife. The NaturExperience Factory, inspired by earlier initiatives, has created an all new tourism experience consisting on crossing Tenerife island from side to side, divided into stages, structured as the Santiago Pilgrimage in mainland Spain, following the steps of the old mountaineers from Tenerife, with the novelty of adding bicycle version, running and the 3718 meters in one day.
